Joey says that Tino is “bad news.” Why doesn’t Paul feel the same way?

Tino gave Joey a hard time when he first joined the team, just like he did with Paul. Joey, however, can't take it. He hates his new school, and he hates the team. He also has a tendency to make racial slurs, which is definitely a part of the problem.
