Paul and Erik are nothing alike. They are genetically brothers, but that is where the similarities end. Erik is a sociopath. He is a malicious bully, who derives pleasure from other people's pain. He is a good football player: a trait, which his parents seem to excuse Erik’s socially, demented behavior for. Paul is a sensitive and empathetic child. He is physically and emotionally vulnerable; Erik blinded him for a joke and seeks out comfort from other kids that feel alienated.
