If something fishy or stinks inside, there’s no where to run, nowhere to hide

Im not sure if this is correct, but my theory is that there has been a murder, you have stumbled upon the body (explaining the smell), you make the decision to report it to the police, but you cant pursue it because the killer is after you next, and nothing can be done about it (explaining the fact that there is nowhere to run or hide). I just guessed so Im sorry if its incorrect. But I hope this helped!
