Describe Rowdy’s friendship with junior.

Rowdy is Junior's only friend and protector. Rowdy abuses Junior at times. He hits him and calls him names but there is an understated bond between them. Rowdy refuses to let others hit Junior. Junior accepts Rowdy's anger and vulnerabilities. The two take care of each other in the harsh reservation culture.
