Do you think the sexual references add to Junior's voice?

I think they do add to Arnold's character. His writing is very confessional in style, hence diary, so Junior is up front about everything with the reader. Sex is on the mind of most all adolescent boys so he talks about it. This just adds to Junior's credibility as our protagonist.
