Explain what Junior means by, "I'm going to die if I don't leave"?

Junior understands what Mr. P is telling him. He has to leave the Rez or he will become like everybody else. Junior will become swallowed by poverty, alcoholism, and apathy. Junior needs to develop and use his talents: this can only happen outside of the reserve.
