How is Rowdy a foil character ( make the characteristics of a character stick out) for junior? How does he make junior's personality stand out?

Rowdy and Junior are both dynamic characters. Rowdy is out of touch with his real emotions largely because of his father's very one-dimensional view of the world. Junior is witty and vibrant. He is sensitive and expressive. Rowdy is insular and emotionally scared. Junior helps Rowdy find his sensitivity and identity.
