Internal Conflict- Santiago and the trials of his journey.
Santiago seeks the path to being at one with himself.
External Conflicts-
the wars between the tribes in the dessert
the robber at the pyramids who beats and robs him..... the robber tells Santiago the location of the treasure, citing he learned its whereabouts in a dream.
