What is the climax and main conflict of the story?

The climax of the story occurs when Satiago attempts to change himself into the wind. A tribesman is holding onto him while he attempts the feat. 

The main conflict is Santiago's desire to find his personal legend and actually completing the task..... he finds mant treasure along the way and is often conflicted about abandoning them to go on.
