What shift in point of view is evident in chapter 2?

I think Edna has the most distinct change in point of view. In the first chapter she's passing her time with a young man. You can see that Mr. P is rather bored and unworried by his wife's flirtation, but he takes off and leaves anyway, leaving her to her own devices and pushing away his two children.

In the second chapter, they've settled into a 'family' routine and simply seem bored, but the family routine involves Robert (the young man with a crush) rather than her husband. Things are calm and settled.......... everyone seems happy. Unfortunately, it's the wrong family!
