This all depends on a book you have recently read. I just finished re-reading Cormac McCarthy's famous post apocalyptic book "The Road". I have always loved that book. I suppose one could compare the Nazi Holocaust with an apocalypse. The systematic destruction of people left a wasteland of darkness and soul crushing despair for generations of families.
