Describe the character of Rudy in your own opinion?

Rudy is a lot like Liesel. He is gallant and impulsive. He follows his own heart unwilling to conform to societal norms he doesn't like. He is best known for painting his face black and running around a track imitating Jesse Owens.He does this not to make fun of Owens but because he was in awe of Owns and wanted to be like him. This was a dangerous thing to do in Nazi Germany when Hitler perfect Arian youth were humiliated by Owens at the Olympics. Rudy also had an undying love for Liesel which reflected his passion for all things good.
