discuss the theme of isolation and abandonment and how it is illustrated in Rudy, Max, and Rosa

Firstly we must consider that all these characters share a sympathy with humanity. They are not blindly following the Nazis or the propaganda that they pump out. They put their life on the line to help others and fight for change. This isolates them from the mainstream population. Consider Rudy's recreating Jesse Owen's run, Rosa hiding Max and Max simply surviving. Abandonment is a separate theme that involves some detail.
