I need the main confict in the book theif.

The main conflict in the novel is between the Germans (the Nazi's) and the people of Germany who were affected by their actions. This totally applied to Liesel, as she lived with it and through it every single day. You can use this conflict in a letter to Liesel.......just look at the ways she handled Rudy's death or the bombing of Himmel Street, or even the loss of her brother. She handled all of these thing, which came in response to the main conflict.
