What do you think Max's drawings are illustration? What do they mean>

THe book is called "The Standover Man", it is an illustrated story of Max's life. It begins with, "All my life, I've been scared of men standing over me." THe illustrations are of his life experience, particularly with Liesel. THere is, for example, a picture of a little girl standing over him. The little girl has shared interests and she writes the words, "TRAIN," "DREAMS," and "FISTS"
