why do you suppose Liesel didn't discuss the mayor's wife with Rudy
through the book she never really talked to Rudy about her. why?

The Mayor's wife had direct connections with the Nazi party. She is fond of Nazi attire and seems to tow the Nazi line. Liesel doesn't feel like discussing her strange connection (books) with Rudy.
