Why does Liesel receive a Watschen from Rosa? Why isn't Liesel angry towards Rosa?

Liesel gets a few "Watschens" from Rosa and others throughout the novel. Liesel doesn't really mind them from Rosa because that is her way. Ironically it is Rosa's way of saying she is part of the family and she cares about Liesel.
