What was Fyodor inclined/attached to in his life?

Fyodor is the patriarch of the Karamazov family. A cruel and miserly man, he is also a misanthrope and narcissist. He plans to use his formidable fortune to marry Grushenka. Fyodor embodies "Karamazovism," that family trait of the Karamazovs referred to throughout the novel. It is the ability to throw oneself into dissipation - orgies, alcohol, and blasphemy - with wild abandon.
