In the Scholar's Tale,is there a happy ending to the story? What happened to the female protagonist at the end?

The ending is happy, and Griselda, the female protagonist, returns to her home with the knowledge that her husband has deceived her to live happily ever after with her family. It's hard to believe she was so accepting of being tricked and tested, but I guess she found solace in the fact that she passed her husband's test with flying colors.
