This is a huge question. I'll try to generalize in context of the book because properly addressing each one is far too involved for this space. The only thing Holden found "not Phoney" was the innocence of childhood, this was personified by his little sister Phoebe. As for the rest, Holden found these perplexing to say the least. He had trouble navigating through the hypocrisy, both perceived and real. Holden used his negativity and keen sense of observation as a crutch to to explore the rocky road of adolescence.
