Such an attitude - that religion is ordinary - would be satire. Most people who are religious are deeply so and they tend to take their religion seriously. To see that religion is not serious, that it is just another everyday activity, would be making fun of the people who find it serious. There are many who believe that Brecht was actually anti-religious which would also be a kind of satire.
