Which character seems most admirable to you? Why?

I think David the story's protagonist is worth considering. David must navigate his very controlled and closed society to develop his own value system. He is a trustworthy and understanding person, although at times he can be lazy, as he often avoids work or plans poorly. He also often has vivid dreams in his sleep portraying his fears and prophecies. His caring nature can be seen in how much he cares for his younger sister and how he is willing to conceal Sophie’s secret of having six toes.
