Do you think it was naïve of Ruth McBride Jordan to think that her love for her family and her faith in God would overcome all potential obstacles or did you find her faith in God's love and guidance inspiring?

I'm not sure I found her faith inspiring but I did find Ruth inspiring. Ruth really stood firm on what she believed which I respect. She was unwavering in her faith but faith is a nebulous term. It can mean different things to different people. What I loved was Ruth's refusal to go down. Life hit her pretty hard many times but she kept getting up. Ruth used faith in God as her strength, I can respect that but she was a strong woman well before she became born again.
