why renaissance period called idea of change ?

Renaissance means "rebirth." The Renaissance was a time of change. People started taking an interest in history, art, and cultural learning. The "idea of change" was the concept that knowledge in all forms (science, mathematics, art, history, music, philosophy) was integral to growth. This was a time when culture was embraced.
