The crossover

In Ode to My Hair, Josh waxes poetic about his dreads, saying if they were gold he’d mine it, each day he unwinds them, these locks he designed them, and the bet JB wants—he’ll decline it. I think this moves the character forward more than the plot. It adds more context and texture to Josh's character. We see he is more than just a good basketball player, he's a poet as well!
