1. Where does Elizabeth want John to go, and what does she want him to do there?

Elizabeth wants John to go to the town and tell them that Abby said "it had naught to do with witchcraft". Basically she wants John to go to town and tell the bout that Abby is a fraud so the accusations will stop.
