The word "Goody" as a description for the women of Salem (short for Goodwife) was very common in the times of the Salem Puritans.

When Susanna leaves the Reverend Parris' house and says "Aye sir, I pray for her" - the use of "aye" is typical of that time.

Abby later says about the dancing, "It were sport." She uses an older verb tense that we use now only when we suggest something as it might be (subjunctive) rather than something that actually happened.
