The Crucible
How does Giles put his wife in danger? Did he mean to?
To Hale
To Hale
Giles didn't really mean to put his wife in danger. He likes to talk so he inadvertently told Rev. Hale that his wife keeps him up at night because she likes to read strange books. Of course, to the Puritans, any book that was not the Bible was considered "strange" and unholy.
Oh yuh, that Giles is a piece of work. He wanted to see his wife killed cos she waz like a total kil juy dat did not treet him rite.
