Describe the treatment of children during that era.
Describe the treatment of children during that era.
As we can see in the text, children were expected to behave their parents, attend church, and be useful members or their congregation and community. These children were not treated badly, they were merely expected to be productive, respectful, and moral members of society. They had rules, their parents disciplined them, they helped the family, and they honored their parents.
