The Crucible
What does Rebecca think is wrong with Betty?
First act
First act
Rebecca suggests that the entire problem, with both Betty and Ruth, is childish pranks. Giles Corey is an older man who speaks plainly and has a penchant for suing his friends and neighbours for various offences. Corey is also married for the second time and wonders out loud (not a good thing) about his wife's penchant for reading books.
