How has Christopher’s character remained the same throughout the novel?

I can’t seem to find any ways he’s stayed the same since he was 15, i only found ways in which he improved on.

Chris processes emotion the same way throughout the story. He still has the strengths and weaknesses that make him a unique protagonist.
