This policeman speaks very differently to the previous officer. `what is Christopher's response to the policeman? What is yours? Why does Haddin introduce two such different policemen?

The policeman at the train station is thoughtful, helpful, and kind. Christopher responds well to this particular man's demeanor, as would anyone else. In his earlier interaction with the law he was completely intimidated and confused. I believe that Haddin introduced two very different policemen because that's the way the world is...... we all react differently.
