Why didn't Hannah want to go to the Seder?

Hannah didn't want to go to the Seder for the same reasons most teenagers don't want to attend family gatherings. She thinks she and her brother will be the only kids there, and that her grandparents and other relatives will simply talk about how much they've grown before going onto speak to each other in Yiddish. Hannah would rather be with her friends.
