Anne frank and her life effected by war?

Anne Frank is very much a coming of age story. She is a girl on the edge of adulthood. She must mature into this stage while hiding in close quarters with others. The war stifles her longing for learning and self-expression. Ann must contend with being found out and sent to death camps. The war forces Anne to reflect on the ugliness of human nature.
