compare and contrast annes relationship with her mother to that with her father

Anne's relationship with her mother was tense and laced with the typical mother/daughter conflicts that permeate the teenage world. She describes her mother as contemptuous, sarcastic, and hard-hearted, although she later regrets those words and feels ashamed. Her relationship with her father was far different..... she was a daddy's girl. Daddy was the perfect companion, he understood her.... he never downed her. He was simply Daddy.
