The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank
History seems to have been made very personal in ‘The Diary of a Young Girl’. Comment.

You can't get too much more personal than a adolescent girl's diary. Through Anne's thoughts and life we get a very personal account of history from 1942 to 1945. We see the world of anti-semitism and life under the threat of Nazis combined with the regular teenaged angst of a girl coming of age.
