Anne felt many things while living in the annex. It changed her life. She was angry that her family had to hide, that she had to share a room with a man, that she couldn't freely move around, and that everyone had to share such close quarters. She also had wonderful experiences. She matured, found new footing with her mother, and she fell in love. None-the-less, you can't overlook the fear that enveloped her.
