How do I compare and contrast The Diary of Anne Frank?

I'm not sure what exactly you're looking to comapre and contrast. Anne Frank's diary tells the story of a family (and others), who are hiding during the occupation. The Wave, on the other hand, is an experiment, and a successful experiment at that, depicting the ease with which people give up control of their own lives in their desire to belong. What exactly are you comparing and contrasting?
