reflect on anne's sentence

Anne tended to use her diary to write down certain things that if she could have...... she would have said outloud in the privacy of her own room.... or walking down the street. Her privacy had disappeared, a difficult thing for a teenage girl to be sure; so all of the things she wished she could say were written down. Anne said (wrote) that paper was patient. It also would have served to buffer tough moments and filter hurtful feelings and words. The above quote..... it shows that Anne knew their safety wasn't insured.
