The diary ends on August 1,1944 what happens to Anne and her family?

Most were killed. The diary ends abruptly before this happens but historical records indicate they were killed. THe group was deported on 3 September 1944 to Auschwitz. As far as I know only Otto Frank survived his internment in Auschwitz.
