Anne's diary was written during the years 1942-1944, while her family lived in hiding. Holland had been invaded by the German troops that now controlled the country. Anti-Jewish laws and curfews have been implemented, and the Franks are in danger. Mr. Frank chooses to take his family into hiding with the assistance of some very loyal employees. Anne's diary tells their story.
