Basically this excerpt deals with Una, a lovely young lady, who rides beside the Red Cross Knight. Much like Christ rode into Jerusalem before his death, the donkey is very pale and white. Una is in mourning and seams to reflect the paleness of her donkey. Beside her are white lambs, which represent her purity.     

 

They had sex and she left him
