Hazel and Augustus have a relationship similar to that of any teenage couple. The main difference between these two very special people and other couples was their awareness that life is short..... the need to sometimes hold back (Hazel), and the need to love without reservation (Augustus).

They would get looked at by others differently. They wouldnt get treated by others like a "cute couple".

Their bond would be likely stronger, they both know what eachother are going through and they have been forced to grow up quickly.

They still care about eachother and want the best for eachother like other teen couples.
