How does hazel, evolve as a character?

I think Hazel changes throughout the book. In the beginning she is understandably depressed and cynical about the world. By the end of the book, she is happy to just experience the world in the moment despite how she is physically feeling. She no longer feels the need to live up to her parent's demands. She accepts things as they are rather than what they could be or are not.
