How does this affect the household and the community?

Gabriel is placed with Jonas' family temporarily, only until they can see if he thrives within a family unit. If he doesn't, he will be released. The family welcomes Gabriel, and it was Jonas' father who wanted to bring him home and give him a chance. For the most part, he is a simple addition to the household. Jonas, however, becomes attached and establishes an emotional bond with the baby.

The community is unaffected.
