Jonas says, “I thought there was only us. I thought there was only now.” Do you think that’s a good way to live?

The people in the community are taught to disregard reality completely. Their past is manufactured, as is the present, and the future.... Jonas lives in a world where there is no truth because all they are ever told or taught is what others want them to believe..... don't question, and by all means, do not think for yourself. There is little meaning in the here and now because people have learned nothing from the past. As for the last part of your question, your teacher wants your opinion.... what do you think?
