Why can't Jonas comunicate with other children anymore?

Other children do not have the same gift as Jonas. They are still tied to their one dimensional world that is controlled by everything the Elder's ell them.

Jonas can't communitace with other children because he can't talk about his work with anybody. And the other childern will not understand what colors are or what love is our sadness, war ect... and jonas dose not know how to explain that to them with using proper language.
