Discuss the unconventional parenting style of Rosemary and Rex. In what ways is this style both a detriment and a benefit to their family?

There is very little that that is positive about their parenting style. I suppose there might be elements of counterculture and thinking "outside the box" so to speak. Any creativeness in parenting gets lost under layers of neglect and abuse the parents inflict upon their kids under the guise of "thinking differently". Rex and Rosemary's parenting style is permissive to the point of neglect.They view their children as more of a friend than a parental figure until they feel the kids get in the way of their own illusions: then they play the parent card in order to get what they want.
