much of the play is autobiographical. williams called it a "memory play". Does his closeness to the subject prevent total objectivity.? Is thereional such a thing as a "semi fictional" story?

I believe that anytime we base our writing on autobiographical information there are things that are impossible to be completely objective about. Our experiences color the way we think and react.... that's just part of being human. To me, a semi-fictional story would be a story that is based on actual events. We read these types of stories all the time, as well as seeing them on film.
