What were Wang Lung’s initial feelings toward Olan?

Presumably she is a virgin, that was always a plus! Wang Lung notices that Olan's feet are not bound and that her face is rather plain. He is,however, glad that she has no pockmarks or a split lip. She seems hard working which is also a plus.
